V njem bodo povezave do novosti na TennisMindGame spletni strani, ker bo vecina v obeh jezikih. Za slovensko verzijo se pomakni navzdol po emailu! --------------------------------------------- Hi! I was on a short but working tennis vacation and now I'm back home. I've been focusing on the Strategy ebook most of the time but here is one article about practicing and giving 100% effort. 1. Drill to difficult? Most players see only short term benefits or successes. The drill may be too difficult at first and since they don't get results quickly, they get discouraged. They only invest 80% or less effort in the drill. Here's one question you can ask them (or yourself) to change their efforts back to 100%: If you do this drill for 3 months with 70% effort OR you do this drill with 100% effort even though there aren't immediate results, what do you think will be the result after 3 moths of practicing? Most players realize the truth and go back to practicing with 100% effort. But you must support them – they usually can't do that alone. Stay with them, remind them about long term success and they will discover the »secret« to success – 100% effort. One other way to help them is to remind them about other things or strokes they practiced and how clumsy or unsuccessful they were at first. Many players can remember how »bad« they were when they first started to practice spin serve – coming from a flat one. They were so insecure and were so afraid to serve up with top spin. And now after they have developed feel and courage their spin serve is just a routine shot. 2. I have added an interesting tennis search engine to my site in the Tennis Articles section. Give it a spin and see what comes up for you... 3. I forgot to mention in the last issue but if you are a coach then these Tennis Coaching Tips will surely help you in your coaching journey. 4. I have agreed with Kathy Krajco from http://www.operationdoubles.com that I will post an occasional article on her blog. So I did. :) Check it out: Enjoy your game! Regards, Tomaz
