A Tennis Myth That Needs To Be Debunked
March 05, 2008
Hi,

There is a certain tennis myth that keeps coming up when I teach tennis. It's so persistent because so many books and websites keep it alive.

So here's something I want you to think about...

--------------------------------
1. What's new?
--------------------------------

a) When you make a mistake, you probably think, that you did something wrong. So if you could correct that, you wouldn't make a mistake?

b) Thanks again for submissions to the What Have You Learned From A Tennis Match page.

I had some interesting questions this past two weeks and I hopefully gave some useful answers:

a) There is this subconscious brake in our mind, that sometimes stops us from giving 100%. The person, who asked me the following question was even aware of this problem, but still couldn't find a solution:

Why Am I Not Giving My Best?

b) You may have heard of the expression "controlled aggression" in tennis but you're not sure what this is...

I am writing this newsletter at my home and if I look through the window, I see snowy roofs and gardens. It's 4 degrees.

My next newsletter will be sent from Thailand, where the average daily temperature is around 35 degrees Celsius right now.

Best regards,

Tomaz
