The Ten Laws Ebook Review And Simple Tennis Doubles Strategies
April 05, 2008
Hi,

I've been coaching an 8 year old girl from Thailand recently and it's been quite an experience. Poonky - that's her nickname - is working hard despite the Thailand heat.

I'll upload some videos and ideas of what we've been working on and how she has improved.

--------------------------------
1. What's new?
--------------------------------

a) I've had a chance to review an ebook called the Ten Laws of Tennis Success by coach Kyril Popoff. It's not often that I come across excellent tennis products online... Here's what I thought about it:

Ten Laws of Tennis Success Ebook Review

b) If you are into tennis doubles, then this article written by Eckhardt van den Linde (thanks!) is something to help you out:

Basic Tennis Doubles Strategies

c) Thanks again for submissions to the What Have You Learned From A Tennis Match page.

The first prize - The Tennis Strategy Encyclopedia ebook - goes to Walter for his cool story: The Match I Could Not Win.

The second prize - The Mental Manual for Tennis Winners ebook - goes to Felipe for his dangerous tactic: Let the Opponent Win the Battle so I Can Win the War.

Walter and Felipe - email me please...

Also thanks to Michael for sharing his experience of teaching his son: Contact Point is the Key.

2. Tennis Thoughts Blog
--------------------------------

I received an interesting question and answered it on the blog. It's one of those topics that should be discussed openly with coaches, players and their parents more often:

Should a Tennis Coach be Realistic or Think Big

I would appreciate your comments on this topic on the blog...

---------------------------

I am leaving for a short break in Thailand so I may not reply to your emails immediately. But I'll catch up for sure...

Enjoy your game!

Best regards,

Tomaz
