Perfection And Tennis - A Good Match? October 21, 2008 |
| Hi, I've been busy making the new DVD on tennis tactics this weekend. My friend Borut Urh -- former Davis Cup player for Slovenia -- and I traveled to Portoroz near the Adriatic sea and were taping various tactical plays that we want to show on the DVD. I'll keep you posted on the progress and when I will publish the final version... -------------------------------- Tennis is a great sport to learn about perfectionism, how to best use its drive to be perfect and what happens if you push this desire too far. There were and still are many top players that I would characterize as being perfectionists, for example Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Justine Henin, etc. They all had problems in the early stages of their career with trying to be too perfect.
