Roger finally beat his nemesis Nadal on clay after a long time.

This certainly makes the Roland Garros predictions much more interesting. Novak Djokovic had match points against Nadal too so we're in for a very exciting French Open Grand Slam.

I've decided to attend Roland Garros this year and I'll be blogging every day from Paris from 26th of May until 2nd of June when I return home. Will be watching the finals on TV... ;)

a) You've heard it so many times:"Don't make unforced errors!" If you make an unforced error, you've done something stupid.

I disagree. There are many more factors besides your opponent that can force you to make a mistake...

b) Lennart from Netherlands has started playing tennis on clay again and is having troubles. Can you refresh his memory on how to play well on clay?

And Sondre from Oslo is an aggresive baseliner and is looking for effective tactics that he could use. Any ideas?

2. Tennis Thoughts Blog

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal met for the 20th time and Roger managed to get one more win under his belt. The head to head score is now 13 - 7 in favor of Nadal.

I've watched the finals on TV and came up with some thoughts on why Federer managed to win against Nadal on Nadal's favourite surface.
