| Hi, The Wimbledon is about to start and there's already been some surprising news; Rafael Nadal withdrew just three days before the start. Nadal's interview included an interesting statement and I posted my thoughts on the blog. But first, let's see what's new on tennismindgame.com...
-------------------------------- You certainly know how different your game looks like depending on whether you feel confident or not. But the confidence in tennis - and other areas of your life - is created by how you perceive yourself and the task at hand and not really by reality itself. Nadal said that he needed the time off to recover and heal his injuries. But he also said something that might suggest another reason... Why Did Nadal Withdraw From Wimbledon 2009? Share your views! b) A young tennis player feels lots of pressure to keep winning matches since his parents have invested so much time and money for his training. What can he do about it and what is my advice to tennis parents? Pressure to Keep Winning Matches --------------------------- I am not attending Wimbledon but if anyone is going over to London, feel free to email me an article or two from the venue and I'll be happy to publish them on the blog! It may seem Roger Federer has a clear way to another Grand Slam title in this Wimbledon although in my personal opinion, Nadal was not his main opponent in his current form and mental state.
