Q&A Q: Our child is 12 years old and has started to compete in tennis tournaments this year. One problem that almost always happens is that he is thinking "What if I miss this shot?". The answer is now in the Q&A - Tennis Psychology... ---------------------- And a practical tennis tip: Whenever you have a target that you aim at - whether in practice or in the match - DON'T aim too much! It means that you must know exactly where you want to play but then you must let go. You movement needs to go fluidly. If you aim too much that means that you consciously steer the racquet towards the target. This doesn't work - the contact between the ball and the racquet is not clean and fast enough and the shot will not be controlled. The more you try to control it the less control there is. :) You need to let go and let Self2 or your body find that direction and length. Enjoy your tennis! Best wishes, Tomaz

Preberite si se naslednje vprasanje in moj odgovor na to temo: Spostovani. Imamo vas prirocnik za teniske zmagovalce, obiskujemo vaso int.stran, pa vendar bi vas rada povprasala naslednje: Otrok je star 12 let, trenira in letos je zacel tudi tekmovati. In tukaj je problem, problem zaradi tega, ker ima na tekmi v glavi - ko igra se dobro "joj, da sedaj ne pogresim!". Na primer na zadnji klubski tekmi je izgubil vse geme na "đjusu" , in ko je se imel prednost, tako pravi on ko smo analizirali tekmo, se mu je porajala misel "joj, da sedaj ne zgresim!". In seveda je zgresil. Tekmo je izgubil 0:4 in 0:4. Kot sem rekla vse na "djusu" in tri geme celo ze na prednosti. In tako se v glavnem dogaja. Kaj mu svetujete oz. kaj predlagate. Hvala za odgovor in lep pozdrav. Njegova mama. Odgovor: Kot ste ze sami dobro ugotovili, je problem v razmisljanju "joj, da sedaj ne zgresim". Na nas vpliva na 2 nacina: - igralec zacne prevec razmisljati, pocuti se v dvomih, prestrasenega in to vpliva tudi na njegove telesne sposobnosti – skrajsana roka, tezke noge, plitvo diha. V tem stanju ne more igrati najbolje. - podzavestno zacne njegova igra teziti k »zgreseni« žogi, saj je to v njegovi zavesti. Kljub temu, da si ne zeli zgresiti, vseeno na nek nacin razmislja o zgreseni zogi. Nasa podzavest ne razume besede NE. Zato moramo vedno razmisljati kaj hocemo in ne kaj nocemo. Tako v tenisu kot v drugih podrocjih zivljenja. Pri 12 letnih otrocih se ni najbolj sigurno, da se lahko zavedajo svojega razmisljanja in ga preusmerijo. To je tezko doseci sploh med tekmo, ko so pod stresom. Vsekakor se najprej pogovorite in pridite skupaj do tega, kaj bi sploh rad in ne kaj ne bi rad. Rad bi dobil tocko, vendar tega ne more 100% zagotoviti. To je eden od vzrokov za tremo in stres. Namrec osredotocanje na dejavnike, ki jih ne moremo kontrolirati – zagotoviti. Ne moremo zagotoviti zreba, razporeda, forme, igre nasprotnika, zadetkov, srece, smole, vremena, okolice, rezultata, uvrstitve v turnirju in se in se. Igralec lahko kontrolira samo svoj napor (100%), obnasanje – odnos do sebe in okolice ter nacin, kako bo igral – spin, levo desno, napadalno, na slabso stran, … Seveda lahko kontrolira le nacin – kako ima namen igrati, NE pa ce mu bo to res uspelo. To je za mlade (in tudi starejse) precej težko sprejeti. Ko to sprejmejo, se lazje osredotocijo samo na svojo igro. Od tod prihaja tudi znan teniski rek: "Igraj tocko za tocko." (saj drugega ne mores kontrolirati kot samo igranje trenutne tocke) Torej, za zakljucek: v kriticnih trenutkih naj razmislja kaj bi rad in ne cesa noce. Na ta nacin je tudi napisan prirocnik, saj je za doloceno kriticno situacijo napisan nacin razmisljanja, ki igralca usmeri v nek cilj – tisto kar hoce. S tem ko igralec to razmislja, prepreci negativnim mislim vstop v njegovo zavest.
