Andre Agassi's "Open" Review And The ATP Finals Analysis
December 05, 2009
Hi,

My review of Andre Agassi's biography is completed and I sincerely invite you to check it out together with the Youtube interview videos that I've added.

I've read so far the biographies of Boris Becker, Roger Federer and James Blake and they were all very interesting but none of these players has been through so many ups and downs as Andre has been.

More on that on the blog but first...

1. What's New?
--------------------------------

There were two personal stories submitted to the site in the last 2 weeks that deserve your attention and that you can learn from.

Christian shares his fights through the Round Robin matches and what he learned from them.

And Jessey shares what he learned from his opponent after the match when they talked about the reasons for Jessey's loss. There's a lesson for every tennis player in this story.

2. Tennis Thoughts Blog
--------------------------------

a) As mentioned before, the "Open" from Andre Agassi is humorous, open and truthful and there are some very smart tactical and mental tennis tips (gems!) hidden in certain parts of the book where Andre writes about tough tennis matches and opponents.

A must read for every Agassi fan and for every tennis enthusiast who will understand much better what junior tennis prodigies go through and why so few of them succeed.

b) Nikolay Davydenko managed to beat the winners of all four Grand Slams of 2009 - Nadal, Federer and Del Potro in the same tournament and deserved to win it.

I've analyzed the final between Davydenko and Del Potro and would appreciate your thoughts and comments on the blog!

The Davis Cup is under way and that's the last tennis event of this year. I'll be in touch on the 20th of December and then it's off to the new season with more articles and tennis thoughts.

Please let me know what kind of articles and blog posts would you like to see in 2010!

Best, Tomaz
