The best way to deal with fatigue is of course to get more fit. But if that's not possible, then make sure you breathe when you play; exhale when you hit the ball and inhale when the ball comes to you.
Also, take enough time between points so that you recover some of your energy and breath and make sure that you relax during the changeovers.
Don't be tense and think about the future or past mistakes. Focus on your breathing, relax, sit comfortable on your chair (or bench) and REST during the changeover.

Exhaustion during the match by: Vaidas
Hello and thanks for the valuable insights and advices.
I think this site is useful not only for beginners in tennis, but for experienced players as well.
Though I used to play tennis professionaly until I finished high-school, I start actively enjoy tennis in seniors tournaments. Besides, I still play with younger tennis players from time to time and that is why physical conditioning problem becomes pressing. So my question is the following: is there any good tactics how to cope with becoming exhausted during a tough and intensive match? Because even if you are doing physical conditioning, the age is doing its bad job..
