Concentration on the baseline

by Anonymus

First, you start out standing in the middle of the base line.

Next, your coach feeds a ball to the base line, to one of the sides (backhand or forehand). If your coach can reach it, he hits it to the other side, or another hard shot.

You try to get it, and set up for another shot. It can be considered as a running drill.

It usually starts out slow, and the ball picks up speed, so you have to run faster.

Concentration and stamina
by: Tomaz

This drill is good for practicing concentration under physical stress.

Many times players have good concentration at the start of the point. But when the point becomes longer, their concentration drops and they miss.

And unfortunately, they blame they stroke's technique for missing...

effective

This drill is very effective for those who are average to advance/superchamp level. It's intense and you can control the tempo depending on your desire of play. Keep playing!
