Dummy Interception

by Henry
(England)

First, you have to make out that you are going to intercept the cross-court volley. Then, when your partner serves and your opponent is about to hit the return of serve, you just stick you foot out but still keep your line covered.

Then if they decide to go down the line, you are there waiting to punch the volley at their feet or angled.

If they go cross-court then you just stay. Then you can actually intercept but thats a new kind of level.
