Fast strokes give my opponent the ball on the racquet

by Rishabh
(Bilaspur (C.G) India)

Whenever I hit a fast shot, I am not able to play the ball away from the opponent - it goes to his racquet.

In return my opponent makes me run by placing the ball away from me.

How can I develop fast shots with good placement away from my opponent?

I feel the same way....... I play a pusher and when i hit an amazingly fast shot, he just pushes it back over where im not..... i hate that... so when im playing a person i know can hit a fast shot back, i try not to hit hard, but to place the ball... When i play him i try hitting corner to corner rather than power.... i hope this helps, if not i wouldnt be surprised... im not really the proffesional coach....

I'm guessing that's the reason why your fastballs are easily hit back. Fastballs with decent topspin will bounce quite high up for your opponents to hit comfortably (shoulder level) compared to the hip level where flat shots usually go up to.
