Forehand, Volley and Overhead King of the Court

by Steven Fuchs
(Jackson, Michigan, USA)

The game is similar to King of the Court and can be played in singles or doubles.

The "king" is one side of the net and the rest of the team is on the other side.

1. The coach feeds a ball to the FOREHAND of the first player and he plays out that point against the king.

If the player (not "king") wins the point, then he moves to the net and ...

2. The coach feeds to the VOLLEY and they play out the point.

If the player wins again, then ...

3. The coach feeds to his OVERHEAD and if the player wins this final point, he becomes the new king.

It's a really fun game that covers all the strokes!

Thanks, Steven.

King of the court is very popular game with juniors and your variation teaches them to develop a complete game in a fun way.
