How to serve an american twist serve

I have a great first serve, but if I don't get it in I don't have anything on a second serve. I have been using a slice serve but it doesn't have any power.

So I want a better second serve. I have been playing for 5 years and never had a great second serve. Please Help.

topspin serve
by: Anonymous

hey you can use topspin serviceits quite simple. first, toss ball high ABOVE your head to and connect with the ball with your arm completely streched to meet the ball.note that you have to use a continental or eastern backhand grip. For a right hander accelerate ACROSS the ball from 8 00 to 2 00 and racquet should connect with the ball thouroghly, you should be able to feel the strings grate the ball. Also remember to accelerate your racquet as fast as would for a first serve to generate the necessary spin and'kick'. lastly remember not to take ur eyes of the ball till your racquet head makes contact with it. And thats all there is to it
