Returning air spins

One day ago when I was playing a tennis match with an adult and I was sucking, I figured out that he was using the same strategy over and over again, I got used to his plan and I finally countered his movements.
From that match I learned to always use a slice in the air when the opponent hits a spin in the air because it will either counter the the spin and return it normally or make the spin more powerful and send it right back at the opponent.
Of course it will take some practice to do this and also it might take a while to learn how to do the slice in a proper way but that's what happened to me and may happen to you too.
