How To Build A Passionate, Popular and $Profitable$ Website

Before I explain how I built this website, I invite you to check the video I made to show my gratitude and kudos to the company that gave me all the tools and taught me how to do it.

My First »Naive« Learning Experiences...

It all started in March 2005 when I decided that I want to share my knowledge about tennis with more people. I knew that I knew a lot, but many times I was able to share and help only one person or sometimes 3-4 on a tennis court.

It seemed such a waste of my experience. I realized internet offers a fantastic possibility of sharing information.

After a few calls to my IT genius friends, they recommended a company that would build me a website. I didn't even dream that I could do it my self (as I am doing it now…)

They charged $700 for a basic template and ability to upload text and graphics. And about $15 for monthly hosting. I thought it was a good deal.

Obviously they never told me how to make my site rank high in the search engines.

After a few months of struggling with that site and learning slowly from various sources how to build one, I asked for a newsletter module. Sure, no problem, they said. That will be $320.

At that point I started thinking: Wow, and when I ask for a form module, RSS module, search engine report module, tracker module,.. HOW MUCH WILL THAT COST? And who will teach me how to use all that?

No, This Will Not Work. Is There Anything Better And More Affordable?

Surely, I started researching the web for something else. I found Sitesell.com. They offered tools, teaching and much more for $299 per year.

Since I have encountered many »sweet« offers and scams on the web before, I approached this one with a great deal of skepticism.

I researched every thing I could find about sitesell.com. Only satisfied customers and no negative opinions.

And then I found the results page on their site...

Wow, the incredible variety of themes and ideas and how to use Site Build It tools to make your site stand out from the spammy websites popping all over the web. And people were actually making a lot of money.

The Decision Day

On 1st of November, 2005, after six months and around $800 dollars wasted, I took out my credit card (still a little hesitant…) and paid $299 for the Site Build It website. (That's about $31 dollars less than I would pay for my newsletter module...)

And then my journey began…

To cut the long story short: you've seen the video, the site makes me some extra money, I have in the mean time bought two more websites, and one is already making me around $1000 per month after 7 months. (Now that I don't learn so much, I can work more…)

My goal is to become free. I love tennis, I love tennis coaching, but for 15 years I have been working for someone else.

I want to work for the player and for myself. Without anyone taking the share.

I am determined to reach this goal in 2007.

Update (in August 2008): I have become free from a job in December 2007 when my earnings from online business exceeded $7000. Now, in August I earn more than $13,000 per month only from SBI based websites (I have now 5).

Site Build It with all the help, tools and helpful community in the SBI forums can make this happen for you. It's not a get rich quick scheme, it requires a lot of work and learning in the beginning phases, but eventually this pays off.

Internet enables you to give and receive by working only once. I wrote my second ebook in August 2006 and it still makes me money. When I teach on court, I work 1 hour, I get paid and then I have to work another hour to get paid again.

Internet has totally changed what we once thought as work. It now enables everyone (and not just geniuses and huge corporations) to become financially free.

How To Learn More - With Videos!

Most tennis players are very visually oriented so that's why I invite you check a fast video tour of the Sitesell.com which you'll find on their homepage.
