x-court-down the line rally drill

by Eymard Capinpin
(Haines city, florida, usa)

This drill is good in grooving shots and improving consistency and varieties under pressure. Best for players 4 or more.

Players A, B, C, and D will line up at the baseline deuce side. Player E will be at the other side of the court, also at the baseline deuce side.

Pro feeds the ball to player A who will hit it x-court to player E, who will try to hit a DTL shot. Player A should then get player E's shot and hit another DTL shot and both players will then play out the point DTL to DTL.

Win or lose the point, player a will step out and the next player will step in to play player E same pattern. First player to win 3 points will replace player E.

You can also do it x-court to x-court first or DTL to DTL.

We've tried it. It's a good drill especially in improving ball placement and consistency. Nice...
